m loves her kids magazines, especially national geographic for kids. i'm not sure which one this was but this is how i found her when i went in to check on her tonight. i guess all the partying and trouble making with cameron wore her right out, lol! it's kinda cute... the story is about having sweet dreams.

so, my friend elizabeth was over tonight. while our two oldest were upstairs, jumping on m's bed, and creating all sorts of mayhem and disaster, our two year olds were sitting quietly in the living room enjoying an apple, baby bach and quiet company of each other. i don't get it. i don't know about anyone else... my daughter saves her worst behaviour for when i have company. why is that?? but i think get togethers for our two oldest will occur only at the zoo from now on.
hmmmmpff. as nanny mcphee would say.
wow!!! what an awesome time we had with donna downey herself at an online chat at love2scrap! she's a crazy lady, and sooo much fun! i really enjoyed chatting with her, and it's got me even MORE pumped to take two of her classes, creative he'art' and 'do-ability' when i go to cku provo in may!! woohoo! and before that, she'll be here in edmonton in april for the urban scrapbook convention... i just can't wait!! how much fun a girl can have in a week... wow!!!
monday was family day here in alberta, so we got to do some fun stuff. we went to a local park where gord & mikehiela went ice skating and i played with caleb in the snow. we're going to get some of those baby skates for him tommorrow so we can all go... maybe gord should get a pair for me, too... yikes!!

elizabeth... i hope you enjoy this. she was thrilled to do this for you, she went through the book and saw you'd been working on it, and looked at all you've marked off, she was impressed! she asked for your user name so she could see all you've done;) she was so much fun!!!
however, i don't know if i actually want to let this book go now!! ;)
miss swapp is one cool chick! i had brought my 'love your handwriting' book looking for an autograph... she cracked me up when she went through the book to see what i'd done, lol! i had done some exercises in the book, but most i did on other paper, mostly because i needed more room, also because it keeps my book neat:) she taught an EXCELLENT class using a TON of her product, there certainly was no holding back on that... i walked away with iron ons, plastic alphas, silhouette words & shapes, brads, masks, lip shine, fuzzy rubons, chipboard kit & rub ons, journalling spots, chipboard shapes, sanepaper, and more!!! renee got an iron, too... so so cool! by the way... i LOVE hs rubons... oh yeah, baby!! believe it!!! they work like a CHARM once you know how to apply them, it's EASY!!!! come see for yourself!!

now that that's out of the way... did i EVER have fun today... i was so thrilled to be able to attend the memories wholesale's retailer's event with renee from L2S as a dt member, what a thrill! stacy julian posed for a pic with me and signed a book for my friend who couldn't be there... this woman is hilarious, intelligent, incredibly friendly, i felt like i'd known her for years. i totally felt right at ease with her, what can i say, what a kind and lovely woman. i learned so much from her class, i love the 'big picture' philosophy. i will most definately be buying this book!!
here's one of my little sister... i love this photo of her. i took it while visiting in victoria about six years ago (ack, where has the time gone?) i remember the day very well, both m & i, jenni, jason & grammy were down on the beach and the kids & grammy were looking for crabs & sand dollars while i took pictures of jenni. what gets me about this picture is it's so deceptive...;) she looks so sweet, but i had a hard time getting her to stop showing me her tongue ring and quit crossing her eyes... i barely got that flower in her hair, lol... but i really loved the whole set of pics i got from that roll. probably one of my best shots. i miss jenni, she lives about twelve hours away from me, so i don't get to see her all too often. when jenni & i were young, we used to have some pretty serious fights about who was older (i am, by just about two years), because her birthday is in july, and mine is august... her logic was because july came first, then she was older. this would just drive me crazy (oh, to be that young and that be your biggest worry). now i've decided that she's right, she's older than me. i must say it feels great to be 28 again. thanks, jen. love ya xo

heh... i just love this picture... what a charmer. it used to be that he would never smile when he saw the camera, he'd run from it. now i get all sorts of cheese when the camera comes out. my cutie patootie:) i love being a mom:)
or so says my friend elizabeth. okay, so i am, but i have an excuse, or many, actually. i have had company for, umm, forever, i think! it's so great, i got to see cathy for the first time since my eight year old daughter was very much a newborn, and it was great, great, great! and scrapbooking has claimed another victim (yessss!). she is so much fun, i love her so much. then my aunt came in because they're best buds, and then her husband came in the next day, then they left the day after that, and later that day, my aunt's son, wife and four kids arrived!! it's been crazy busy and lots o' fun, i honestly love it and love having all of this family around... mikehiela's in her glory, she loves being with the cousins. 
but my poor little caleb is getting better from a cold, and now he's starting to sleep better, thank goodness. i am trying to catch up on so much, but i guess i can rest easy knowing that my laundry will wait for me:) and... i am SO excited... not this coming weekend but the next, i get to go to the memories wholesale' retailers class!!! woo hoo! i can't wait... heidi and stacy jullian will be there! woo hoo! (i said that twice!!) lots of cool stuff, i just can't wait!!!
i guess i should calm down and get to bed!
